How to Apply and Remove Press-On Nails

Before you start

Bad Taste Nails manicure sets include 10 handmade press-on nails only. Glue, adhesive tabs and preparation tools are not included unless the product description explicitly says otherwise. Application accessories are available separately.

Do not apply press-on nails to damaged, irritated or infected natural nails. Keep nails, glue and small accessories away from children and pets. Follow the adhesive manufacturer's directions.

Preparation

  1. Match each press-on nail to the correct natural nail before applying adhesive.
  2. Wash and dry your hands thoroughly.
  3. Gently push back the cuticles.
  4. Lightly buff the natural nail surface.
  5. Remove dust and oil with an alcohol prep pad. Let the nail dry completely.

Apply with adhesive tabs

Adhesive tabs are suitable for shorter wear and easier changes.

  1. Choose a tab that fits the natural nail without touching the skin.
  2. Press the tab firmly onto the clean, dry nail.
  3. Remove the protective film.
  4. Align the press-on close to the cuticle without covering it, then press firmly.

Apply with nail glue

Nail glue generally gives a stronger hold. Use only a product intended for press-on nails and follow its instructions.

  1. Apply the amount recommended by the glue manufacturer.
  2. Align the press-on close to the cuticle without touching the skin.
  3. Press firmly for the time stated in the glue instructions.
  4. Avoid water immediately after application according to the adhesive manufacturer's guidance.

Removal and reuse

Never pull or force a press-on nail away from the natural nail. Remove it gently using the method recommended for your adhesive. Clean away adhesive residue carefully and store the set safely before reuse.

Stop use and remove the nails if you experience pain, redness, itching or irritation.
